The first event of the 2009 questars series is in the western part of the New Forest. The area offers a great variety of terrain. the new course includes some surprisingly remote as well as very accessable areas and offfers a good challenge for experienced adventure racers and novices alike. The New Forest questars is always the series most popular event so do apply early to secure your entry.

Event base is at Moyles Court just north of Ringwood with trail running and mountain biking through the surrounding open heaths, woodlands and forests. The kayaking stage will be on a nearby lake - therefore flat water - making for an easy introduction to kayaking for those that have not tried it before.

All the questars events in 2008 sold out well before the published closing dates. So by entering the series now you are guaranteeing yourself a place and saving money and time too. 

This series discount is only available prior to the closing of entries for the first questars event. It will be withdrawn after the New forest event.

The second questars of the 2009 series visits a brand new area the exact location of which we're going to keep a bit of a secret until nearer the time of the event.

Here are a few clues. The course covers a very mixed area that includes part of the Brecon Beacons National Park, a World Heritage site, and the venue of an international skiing competitions. The area offers a great deal to adventure racing.

The third event in the 2009 questars series returns to location that is a firm favourite with adventure racers. Based from Pewsey in north Wiltshire the brand new course will take in areas of the surrounding chalk hills not vistied in previous questars. There will again be kayaking on the calm waters of the Kennett and Avon canal. The rest of the course will be alot less tranquil - affording great views and varied terrain.

For the final event in the 2009 questars series we are returning to Pershore close to the most northerly of the Cotswold Hills, Bredon Hill. In 2007 this area proved to be very popular with questars participants. A new course will include kayaking on a wonderful stretch of the River Avon and outstanding views are in prospect for those that venture up the hills.
